#5 Chara design summer course

Course supervised by teachers from the École des Nouvelles Images.

What is chara design?

Character designer, chara design or character designer1, is a term used in the world of animation, comics, cinema and television series, as well as in video games, to designate the person responsible for creating the graphic, animation and sometimes psychological style of the characters in a project. The character designer may also be the person (or one of the people) who has to represent the characters he or she has created throughout the project, but his or her job is above all to imagine a graphic representation of the characters.

We propose to introduce you to the practice of character design with character drawing exercises and a red thread on archetypes. You will explore different ways of drawing morphologies, costumes and giving your characters a personality. This is an opportunity to discover or perfect your use of digital tools with a graphics tablet and Photoshop digital drawing software.

Lunch :

There is a place where you can store and heat your meals. You can have your lunch on school premises.
